Meet Your Experienced Rowlett Dental Team

Jana Youngblood, Dental Hygienist

Rockwall born and raised, Jana attended Baylor University in Waco, and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry. Her experience in the dental field spans about 30 years and she has spent the last two decades here at our office! She loves working alongside skilled, family-oriented doctors, being a part of a wonderful team, and growing the relationships she’s built with her patients over the years.
Outside the office, Jana loves spending time with her husband, Michael, and three children, Dylan, Ashton, and Brennan, as well as her daughter-in-love, Danielle, and her big extended family. Her interests outside of dentistry include traveling, snow skiing, cooking, hunting, and playing pickleball.

Abby, Dental Hygienist

A Texas native, Abby completed her studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Today, she has roughly a decade of experience in the dental field under her belt. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling anywhere sunny, exercising, online shopping, and reading. Here’s an interesting fact about her: she’s been a patient at Rowlett Dental since 1994!

Shelley Bixler, Dental Hygienist

Shelley has been in dentistry since 2007 when she first started as a dental assistant at Rowlett Dental. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M-Baylor College of Dentistry in 2012. She finally joined the RDA family again in 2019. She was born and raised in Rowlett and was actually a patient of Dr. Fedosky’s since she was little. She and her husband, Brad, have 2 children, Jaxon and Hallie. Shelley enjoys spending time with them and their families and watching movies when she can.

Allison, Dental Hygienist

Allison attended Texas A & M, Baylor College of Dentistry where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2009. She loves being a part of the Rowlett Dental Team and working with such talented practitioners to bring quality, patient-centered care to her patients. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know each patient individually, as well as their families. Allison grew up in Rowlett and has settled down here with her husband, Rommie. They have 2 daughters, Orion and Kindsey.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys being a part of Bible Study Fellowship, participates in a workout group called Camp Gladiator, and often competes in fitness competitions and races.

Karla, Office Manager

Karla is a native Texan and brings 35 years of dental experience to our office since 2021. She began her career as a Dental Assistant and still maintains her RDA license. Helping patients feel comfortable and understanding their dental needs is one of her best strengths.
Outside of work, Karla enjoys traveling with her husband and high school sweetheart of 36 years. They have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She is also a member of Rogers Baptist Church and has taught Sunday school there for the last 10 years. Fun fact: Karla loves to kayak and is a BIG Dallas Mavericks fan!

Laura, Front Office Staff

Laura has several years of experience in the dental field with a passion for helping people. She grew up in the area and loves being part of the Rowlett Dental family. Outside of the office, her favorite things are spending time with family, doing anything outdoors, fishing, painting, being involved at her church, and eating tex-mex!

Maria

Maria has been in the dental field since 2006 and has been a part of the Rowlett Dental team for over 11 years now. She enjoys worshiping God, spending quality time with her three children and loving husband and attending her kid’s soccer games. Maria has a very caring heart and treats her patients with such kindness.

Isabel

Isabel has been in the dental field since 2013, and even though she has been a part of the Rowlett Dental team for a little over a year now, she feels like this is home. Isabel enjoys spending time with her three kids and husband and in her free time, she practices cosmetology. Isabel’s family loves creating new memories such as going on road trips and watching Sunday football together. Go Bucks!!
